Talli Finance is operated by Talli Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. When we refer to “Talli”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy, we mean Talli Labs Ltd. 2. What data we collect
- Account information: your name and email address
- Financial data you enter: transactions, budgets, wallets, goals
- Device information: app version, operating system (for crash reporting only)
- Usage data: features used, session length (anonymous, aggregated)
We do not collect bank credentials, card numbers, or any data you do not explicitly enter into the app. Receipt images taken for scanning are processed on-device and are never stored or transmitted.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide and operate the Talli Finance app
- To send you transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
- To monitor app stability and fix errors (via Sentry, anonymised)
- To respond to support and data requests
We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers hosted by Railway in the EU West region. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EU (for example, to serve US-based users), we ensure equivalent protections apply through appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
6. Your rights: UK and EU users (UK/EU GDPR)
If you are located in the UK or European Union, you have the following rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (UK: ICO at ico.org.uk; EU: your national supervisory authority)

7. Your rights: US users (CCPA / California)

- Opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
